What Is An Employee Separation Agreement

The employee promises and agrees that at no time may he make, publish or transmit any defamatory or derogatory remarks, comments or statements about the Company or its companies or any of its employees or officers to any person or entity or in a public forum. Nothing in this section restricts or prevents employees from exercising protected rights (for example. B rights under the National Labour Relations Act (NLRA) to the extent that such rights cannot be waived by agreement or by applicable laws or regulations or a valid order of a competent court or authorized government agency can be complied with. THE EMPLOYEE IS ADVISED TO CONSULT WITH A LAWYER BEFORE SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT. THE EMPLOYEE ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT HE/SHE HAS FULLY READ AND UNDERSTOOD THE BINDING LEGAL EFFECT OF THE AGREEMENT.
